USS Oklahoma Memorial

Each column represents an individual that was on the ship on December 7, 1941.

This memorial is right in front the entrance to Battleship Missouri. If you have already paid for the Missouri or the Pacific Aviation Museum, I don't think there is any extra charge to visit.  (However, if you are only visiting the Aviation Museum, please verify this with the Visitor Center and know it will require an extra shuttle stop.) Likewise, you can visit this for free if you have base access. Alternatively, you can visit without base access and without paying admission to the Missouri or Pacific Aviation Museum: in this case, it costs $3 for the shuttle ride (cash only; there must be a credit card minimum that you may be able to reach by adding the Arizona audio tour or Bowfin admission). It is a memorial only; there is no ship. The memorial beautifully symbolizes and conveys the loss and scale of the tragic December 7, 1941 sinking of the USS Oklahoma. Don't miss it if you visit Pearl Harbor!

Check out a USPS handstamp set to December 7, 1941 from the USS Oklahoma at the National Postal Museum website.
